The 0.8 meter cable supports Thunderbolt 3 (up to 40 Gb/s bandwidth) and USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gb/s bandwidth), can be used for DisplayPort (HBR3) video output, as well as charging devices (allowable power up to 100 W). Use this cable to connect Thunderbolt 3-enabled devices such as docking stations, hard drives, or monitors to a Mac with a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port. Each Thunderbolt 3 port can daisy-chain up to six peripherals. I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Many complain about the length of the cable. Dear comrades at Apple, the engineers are not idiots and everything is done according to the specification that it is at this length that the best 4K and 5K signal transmission at high hertz occurs and data is also transmitted at high speeds. When using a cable of 2 or 3 meters, there are strong drawdowns in data transmission and, accordingly, a decrease in image quality.

  • Quality. What else can you expect from apple? I bought for a macbook to connect to a 4K Samsung monitor. Works great.

No complaints, I recommend the product for purchase.

Good thing, works without problems. The only question is, does anyone know how to solve the problem with constant recharging? It's annoying that the cable continues to charge the MacBook always, wearing out the battery. The optimized charging function on a poppy doesn’t really work . Either tell me please what I’m doing wrong, or maybe some software needs to be installed so that I don’t charge more than 80% via cable
