Very easy to install

10/21/18 not used but just received and was very easy to install on the 2016 Softail Slim S. 4 screws removed the old one and put in the new one. Comes with an adapter which I think some bikes might need. Will be updated after use

Light looks good, works even better

Light looks good, works even better. I was impressed by how bright and wide it shines compared to the standard. When I first got it, the wiring harness didn't match my 2016 road companion. They said I would buy the part and refund. The adapter costs $25. Half the price of light. They refunded my money the next day. Great product, even better customer service.

2005 XVS 650 Yamaha V-Star

If interested. it fits perfectly. The only "potential" error in the process. There are 2 spring loaded screws on your bike headlight (used to adjust the position of the headlight beam). Each of these screws threads into a small, molded plastic fixture that fits loosely into a bracket on the assembly. They fall out when you loosen the screws. So keep an eye on them and you won't have any trouble assembling them.

The best Daymaker alternative on the market

This product is better than I expected. I ordered three different lamps and this one was the best. Fits perfectly, looks almost identical to the Daymaker and I can see glowing street signs 100 meters away in broad daylight. A limitation. Don't let a Harley dealer tell you it won't work with your motorcycle. The red "Electrical Diagnostics" light on my 2017 Softail Slim indicated a problem. The store told me the light didn't fit, that's why. When I got out, one of the technicians told me I would

Nice and Bright!: Bulbs and Headlight Assemblies

So I'm not sure why Harley puts such poor lighting on most of their bikes, oh wait yeah I know. They hope you buy their $500 upgrade. which can be purchased through another motorcycle parts supplier for half that amount. However, they do an excellent job! I have friends who tell me that the upgraded headlight on my Sportster is bright enough for them to pass behind me, and that light is even BETTER than this one. With all the talk of how the high beams work on these LED headlights, I'mโ€ฆ
