Perfect. Comes with everything you need.

This is a powerful little power head. Ideal for gravel packs. Very strong. Variable flow offers a range of flow rates. A nice venturi valve is included and a nice little flow control device to direct flow into the tank when needed. Also includes tank lip mounts and suction cup mounts.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Requires socket

Easy to use, works great.

Easy to understand construction. It works quietly, but pumps a lot of water when needed. I set the flow to about half and hooked up a sponge filter that lets a lot of water through. I put mine on a 45 degree exhaust and my fish love to swim with the current it creates. I am so happy with this head that I bought another one for my other aquarium.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

They do work properly as the water moves and there is a hole in the flow regulator which when a fish swims over it sticks to the bottom of the unit. My measles got caught and died. I had to dig bits of it out of the hole so I know what happened. Now they are useless in a box. I won't risk my other fish, even if it's random prey.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Some issues

Second failure in less than two years.

In May 2019 I replaced a powerhead that I had had for over a decade not because it didn't work but because I broke the plastic tab making it difficult to put together. I had to replace a new head in April 2020 because the fan stopped spinning. Now the power adapter I bought in April no longer works. Now I'll see if I can find an old one to use so I at least have a working filter head. I am very disappointed in the declining quality of this piece. I've probably been using this gravel filter…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Reliability

When I use it for 40 gallons it hits water with ease

I bought the 30 to have a slightly loose head to get some flow in my tank and it turned out perfect for mine 40 gallons out. . As it's noisy I have to say no, unless your tank creates a little waterfall with your filter, I'd say it will probably make a bit of noise, but if you're looking for absolutely zero noise pollution, don't do it it. . Actually put something in your aquarium. It comes with a hanging clip as well as a suction cup which is a good option. It produces tons of bubbles or none…

  • Sleek design

Not very powerful. suitable for aquarium pumps and filters

I ordered this item on Saturday and it arrived the following Monday. I am very satisfied with the delivery time. When I opened the product I found that it was smaller than I expected. All parts were included but the instructions were very vague. It wasn't hard to guess what went where. I tried to find it on youtube and was able to find a video but in a foreign language rofl. When I put it in the 46 gallon bow, I noticed that it wasn't very strong. I currently use Aquaclear110 and Marineland…

Pros
  • High quality construction
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Works well, excellent power control.

**I didn't get the model shown in the picture with the green power knob easily found in the center of the power head. Be aware that while the functionality, flow rate etc. may be the same you might end up with a slightly older model - on the other hand my model has all the black elements and fades more easily without the yellow and green elements** This one item works great. Much better than the Penguin version I had before (the impeller started making an awful noise a week after using it). I…

My fish love it! (Me too.)

I was hesitant to buy a nozzle for my aquarium. After spending hours arguing on the internet about whether I should just go out and buy a new air pump or take the plunge and buy a powerhead, it's clear I've settled on the powerhead. The instructions in the box are nothing more than instructions. They're more like a diagram of what's inside and outside the powerhead in multiple languages. However, I found out and it is currently working great in my aquarium. The fish love it! They are very…
