Great light but Revain packaging was terrible

Excellent light. I bought 6 of these lamps and am very happy with the purchase. Just a warning, I strongly advise you NOT to force Amazon to complete the purchase. The lights I implemented in Revain did little to protect them. The fixtures I made directly in the seawater aquarium were excellently padded.

Pros
  • LED Channels - 7 (+1) Number of LEDs - 64 (+4) Power Consumption - 135W
Cons
  • Fits

Nice improvement over Hydra 52 but no storm effects

I was looking to replace my Hydra 52 with AI and decided to stick with AI to avoid buying new mounting hardware. Still happy with them - better coverage, quieter and warmer; shows the colors of fish and coral and doesn't seem to produce as much algae as the 52. Surprised they don't have the storm feature that the 52 had.

Pros
  • Improved optical design and water resistance
Cons
  • Some flaws

Giant Clam Approved

My 9 year old Dereza did fine with other LED lights but grew so large that her scales darkened with the extra zooxanthellae needed to maintain nutrition. Check out the difference in color and pattern after 4 months! The moonlight is a great feature as it illuminates this part of the corridor a bit in the evenings and extends the time we have to enjoy the aquarium. Don't hesitate, just spend your money and get this light.

Pros
  • Sleek form factor
Cons
  • No instructions
