The problem with about half of these filters is that the plastic ring on the top of the filter doesn't fit in the hole in the pan where the filter ring is too big .

Excellent quality. You have held up well. Every few weeks I wash 10 liters in the washing machine. No problems with seams like others. big enough to fit properly in my ice cap swamp. Must be cut.

I took this one as the sock that came with my pallet got dirty after only 2 days. They can last almost a full week before I have to change them. They are a bit smaller than the ones I originally had, but I think the 10 inch size works better. There are no downsides here.

Ordered two 4 inch socks for JBJ 65. Although they fit, I noticed that one sock is 1.5 inches longer than the other. While it's not a big deal in the long run, it makes you think they don't check the items too carefully before shipping them. I will continue to buy them for my tank in the future.

These well made socks do a great job of keeping the aquarium clean. They're well made and now that I've washed them a few times, they're holding up well. I just flip them over and throw them in the washing machine and have had no problems with that.

These pre-filter socks for my swamp are great, but they're expensive. Paying around $50 for 6 socks is ridiculous but I need them to collect the junk that ends up in my trash. My local LFS doesn't even use filter socks in their tanks and they're clean so I can try going without them and see what happens.

Excellent filter socks! I use them on my 135 gallons. sea reef tank. I wear two (2) 300 micron mesh and three (3) of these 200 micron felt filter socks. They do an excellent job of removing detritus, fish and food waste from my tank. I change them weekly and machine wash them to clean/charge them. I typically get 6-9 months of use from a kit.

Well, they turned out to be completely useless and a waste of my money. I put them through the washing machine when I got them before using them and out of 8 I have 2 that have the stitches unraveled. I guess I'll have to re-order the 'cheap ones' I ordered before that I've been using and washing in the same washing machine for over 6 months. save your money buy another brand.

First off, these socks give you the best bang for your buck. Fantastic product and here's why: 1) Extremely durable. This sock will last a long time if you clean and wash your socks properly. Remember to rinse before use. 2) Premium quality. These felt filter socks filter out all solid particles. I only wear a 90 gallon sock and the sock handles it with no issues.
