I bought this backpack in August 2016 for my son to use in preschool. At the end of the year he was still in great shape so he used it again for kindergarten. This backpack has held up so well, sure is a bit dirty but has no rips or tears and we had no problems with zippers at all. This is by far the strongest backpack I've ever seen! Absolutely amazing school bag, the quality of the material is wonderful and so durable. The design of the robot is also adorable. The lightning is very strong. He stood up like a champ to being dragged, shut and thrown across the school floor by my 5 year old son. If you want something that will last and take a lot of abuse, this is the perfect backpack. I wanted to wait until we finished the school year to write a review. I bought this for my 5 year old when he started kindergarten last year. The bag is made of good materials and holds up very well. The damage is only on the top strap where it has come loose a bit, but that's more due to the full backpack being hung from the top handle on the doorknob as shown in the photo.
