I really liked this phone stand: it's big, strong and screws on easily. Unfortunately I've bought it twice now and each time the aluminum post broke off the ground in less than a year. I've only adjusted it a few times a month and the aluminum is still wearing and chipping.

I was wary of this product, I usually use a ram mount and the last gooseneck mount like this was flimsy and couldn't stay in one place. The first thing that struck me about it is that it is STRONG. Adjusting the neck feels like bending armor. Seems tough enough. It was easy to install. This is great value.

Rarely have I received a product that is so easy to install and works so well. I just bought a 1998 Honda Prelude and immediately installed a modern receiver system.
