This road mount works much better than the flimsy little mount that comes with the GPS unit. The suction power is better and the curved arm gives you a much more versatile range of angles.

This product should be sold with every Garmin it owns and is ten times better. It's the best that never comes out. If you want it to last a long time, once set up, never take it off. So think about where is the best place to place it. The top left corner of your windshield is probably the best.

With the original Nuvi mount, the suction always broke when it was hot. So far this mount and suction cup feel very solid and have not come loose at all. The absorbent material seems to be much more secure and stays in place. Also, it's great to be able to move the mounting ball up or down if I want it to be in a different position. And the arm extends further, making my sat nav easier to use. I love it so far!

So far so good. As many have said, I had issues with the included Garmin mount which didn't last more than a couple of weeks. I'll update this if anything changes, but so far so good. I use with DriveSmart 60 and so far it's holding up pretty well. To be on the safe side, I cleaned the inside of the windshield with rubbing alcohol and started the suction with water.
