Upgrade to 12 inch handlebars. After installation, bushing replacement is required. These polymer bushings were much stiffer than the stock bushings. It took some patience to get them. in place because the fit was very tight.

I installed these with my new handlebars at the dealer. Couldn't be happier. The bars don't dangle or move like they used to. I feel safe with them on the bike. I definitely recommend them and you won't have to sacrifice comfort.

These are needed if you are using larger than stock handlebars, they are much stronger than those original HD Drop On the bottom of my 2017 Special's Street Slip, the riser bolts were too short and had to be replaced with 1/2" x 2.25" bolts, a pretty odd size, but I had them on at Menare with chrome trim Warehouse.

After spending hours installing these things in my 1990 FXR I have come to the conclusion that there is NO way they can be assembled. Bicycle. You'll definitely need to completely remove the top triple clamp and hand hammer those Ph'rs (maybe). YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I wasn't sure if I needed solid bushings or these but I'm glad I went with these. A HUGE improvement over the stock sockets on my '99 Electra Glide. Installed a 12" handlebar and decided to swap out the bushings while I had everything disassembled. These bushings, combined with a one-piece rod clamp with set screws, create a solid rig without crazy vibrations. In addition, I was able to use my original 2.5 inch screws without any problems.

Matches my 2020 Street Slip perfectly. Replaced/upgraded the steering wheel so decided to replace the stock Harley rubber bushings. These bushings don't crease as much as the stock bushings (which is good), but I found that the stock bolts aren't tightened like I wanted/which I'm comfortable with, so I went to the hardware store and bought stainless steel 2's -1/4 screws, and they worked great. (Note: 2-1/2" screws will not fit and are too long)

I couldn't believe how much stiffer my steering wheel got after installing it. My handlebars on his bike had the same play so I always thought it was normal and there was nothing I could do about it. Then the guy I work with told me about these jacks. He said it would help so I figured it was worth it. These work great but note that standard bolts only grip a few threads if you use the washers/sleeve caps provided. The bars don't fit, so you'll need a longer screw. 2 1/2" is too long and pops out at the top of the bars, the washers at the bottom cause the bolt head to bang against the frame. I couldn't find the 2 1/4" so I used a hacksaw to cut 2 1 /2" short and smooth the ends.
