It's a little bigger than I thought it would be, but it's so well made. Great for washing veggies, pinto beans, rice (to an extent) and I'll probably find another use. I keep it handy by the sink.

I was disappointed because it is crooked and doesn't fit directly on the sink. It cannot be "bent" into shape. I found out after already using it so I couldn't return it

As previously mentioned, food gets caught between the metal rim of the strainer and the strainer, making cleaning difficult. Also, the bottom sharp edges might make you want to count your fingers. If you know those "bugs" then it's a good strainer.

I recently moved in and got rid of my old plastic strainer so I needed a new one. I chose this one as it could be expanded which would make it easier to use without leaving it in the sink like my old one. This sieve works great. The handles slide out easily and stay in place. Very easy to clean and holds a lot of pasta.

I've had a popular Oneida strainer over the sink strainer but it's definitely seen better days. Eventually I realized I had to replace it. While searching, I came across a product from Artigee. It looked solid, the reviews were good, and the price was right. Everything is good - so I ordered. I wasn't disappointed! I started using it the same day I received it and Oneida walked out the door. It's just the right size and very durable. Highly recommended!

Update: The company contacted me for a refund and said they would update the Swan information. I appreciate their reach and customer service! This is a good mesh strainer, but I ordered this specifically for quinoa and the mesh is too big. I even went through the Q&A and it said it would work, but the white quinoa let me down.
