Everyone in the family was wrapped in their father's clothing when ill or injured, and these clothing showed clear signs of wear. Fantastic robe. Runs quite large but is much appreciated for my height of 6ft 5" and weight of 270lbs. The hood is more like a clip-on towel, which is pretty cool but makes it a bit difficult to get on quickly when jumping out of the hot tub when the temperature is 10F. Once the robe is on, it's warm enough to stay outside long enough to hang to close and lift the spa.

After 3 years it was washed again and again in the normal wash cycle without any significant loss of color (black) and without shrinking. I'm 6ft 2in and 210lbs and I love how this robe covers me completely without worrying about someone seeing something they really didn't want to see pfft.

This has to be my favorite bathrobe. The quality is excellent and this robe is great for keeping you warm and dry on cold winter days/nights. The monk's hood is a brilliant idea that adds a twist to attire. This is one of those rare products that combines form and function. I highly recommend it.

I love this robe. It's thick, heavy and warm. I use it everyday to get out of the hot tub when it's cold outside or in the shower. With a hood and extra length, I stay warm and don't need a separate towel to dry off. When my old one wore out after 10+ years I was glad they still make it. Remove the waist belt before washing to avoid damaging the belt loops.

I'm 5'10" so I ordered a large and it was just the right length, right around my ankles. It's a bit big but I'm quite slim so would probably fit the average male (67% the American clinical) The robe fortunately arrived on the day the food poisoning case unfortunately emerged.If it weren't for the INCREDIBLE LUXURY With this garment, a two-day struggle for survival would be much more questionable.For the first time in my life, I look forward to going to the toilet at night.

Excellent robe. I am 6ft 1 and 250kg. I received the XXL and I love it. It's big, but I live in a country with cold winters. I wanted something I could wear at my desk at work and around the house, almost like a blanket. Be careful though, the hood is just a piece of fabric. The hood has no shape. However, it is a very durable, well-tailored garment, nice and warm in winter.

Bought this as a gift for my nephew who just recently installed his hot tub. He asked for a long, hooded terrycloth robe. It absorbs very well and that was his first requirement.

As long as it holds up well. If I had one complaint it would be that the seam where the hood joins (a vertical line down the back) is badly frayed and not as aesthetically pleasing as the rest of the robe. this is exactly what i was looking for but can't find in town. it is thick cotton. Love the floor length. fits perfectly. The hood is great for the cold when I need to go out to get a newspaper or indoors when I want to warm up. the tie works great too. very happy.

This robe is fantastic. The best I've ever had. I walk around in this thing and I feel like Obi-Wan Kenobi. It's January here in Avalanche, Arizona so on those cool winter nights I get in my hot tub and get out and put on this robe and sit by the fire, it's awesome.

Hands down one of the best robes I've ever had. I like big ropes, they were big sizes for someone, six foot six. very very satisfied with this product, warm and comfortable, perfect.

The bathrobe is very high quality, absorbs moisture very well, looks great, a warning: stay away from cats. If you don't trim their nails very well, they'll get addicted to it, and every time they do, you'll see where they did it.

This is the second time I have bought this bathrobe. The first was almost six years ago (!). That's how I like it and how long does it last with daily use. The robe has survived everything I've thrown at it: daily use, frequent washing, cold and hot weather, and more. Not only does it look good, but the size allows it to fully envelop the body and upper body.

It has good cuts/seams and I believe it is 100% cotton as I have bought several 100% cotton towels locally and they look the same. I wish they would sell the same robe only with a fluffier/plush lining, same material on all surfaces. Not much of a lounge robe (I wanted that but literally can't find it anywhere) but it's perfect for people who specifically just want to use it outside of the shower/pool etc instead of a towel.
