We bought a medium size for my daughter. The top fits perfectly, but the bottom is too big despite the medium marking? Would make perfect sense for a woman but not a girl?

Nice suit. thick material. The bottom doesn't seem to fit as well as the top. They were bulging in front and very small in back. wedgie town! We need to look for the bottom to make it fit up. Dissatisfied. The daughter is tall, slim, 11 years old.

This costume is very cute. My 11 year old just tried it on and it fits perfectly. I bought a size 14 my daughter is tall (5ft). For reference, we bought a size XL swimsuit from Old Navy yesterday. Both fit the same. It's perfect for the beach, she had an issue with the last suit where the bottom slipped off and the top floated in the sea but this one stays in place. Perfect for a day at the beach.

The first time, after about 6 months, the seams on the straps came undone. Since it was so cute and fit so well, I wrote it off as a fluke and bought it again. After 1 wear it happened again. If you are good at sewing, it might be a good buy for you.
