Comfortable and supportive. Even for a spartan super race!

I bought these as a replacement for my husband who only wears Nike. He loves her! He prefers them to his Nikes almost every day. He also chose her to race in the Spartan Super and said he was happy about it. He said they were really comfortable and supportive and he had no pain afterward. Needless to say they were ruined and this is his second pair which he specifically requested. We had to go half a size up for its comfort, but that might just be personal preference. We recommend.

Good cushioning, but too narrow in the toe area.

Toe seat for 12D was too tight. I wore them for a very short run and a short walk (less than 5 miles total) and ended up with a huge blister on my toe. I always wear 11.5 or 12D (never had to buy wide shoes before) so I was surprised. However, the cushioning in the sole of the shoe was very comfortable. I really wanted to like these shoes but they were too uncomfortable due to the tightness at the toes. I had to send the shoes back.

Pros
  • DuraSponge: Outsole Inflated AHAR rubber compound for enhanced cushioning and durability in the forefoot.
Cons
  • Some difficulties

this is just awful. These things hurt my left heel a lot

They KILL your heel! I think other people here have mentioned this, but I'm a different person: I don't know what they did, but it HURTS A LOT, it's just awful. These things really hurt my left heel, I think because they lifted my back? I don't know, all I know is that these shoes are unwearable and their return period has expired so I screwed it up, was really pissed off and won't be buying Asics again. I'll replace them with Nike, Brooks or whatever.

Pros
  • Rubber outsole
Cons
  • Can't remember
