ASPIRE Netbook Replacement Laptop SCREEN Review

I received this screen to replace a cracked screen on my 10.1" Acer Aspire One netbook. When I took it out of the box, the top left corner was cracked about three inches into the screen. I'm not sure if the packaging was the culprit or if they just sent me a broken screen, however it wouldn't surprise me anyway, the packaging was just a piece of styrofoam taped to the front of the screen and a couple of air-filled plastic bottles lying on it.

The screen on one of these new mini laptops broke, I was expecting a new non-LCD screen to cost more than a computer. I was pleasantly surprised that the screen came in a lot cheaper than expected and was worth ordering a spare to replace it. Keep all the original data on the computer without the hassle of transferring, the screen is relatively easy to insert, and the new screen works just as well as the old one!

I bought this item used but the screen looked like new. When I opened the box the two metal screen holders (the ones you put the screws in to adjust the screen) were bent, as was the bottom bracket with the 40 pin receiver! When I plugged in the laptop and turned it on, I could only see half of the screen and the bottom with the receiver got very hot. Need a return.

This replacement screen was very easy to install on my Acer Aspire One D255E laptop. I would recommend anyone with a damaged screen to replace it rather than buying a new laptop. You'll save a few hundred dollars and it only takes about 10 minutes to replace a damaged screen. Definitely worth your time.
