Astral Mens Loyak Water Shoes - Classic Navy (012) - Athletic Men's Footwear Review

They are exactly what was advertised and met all expectations. Expensive but very high quality and I hope it lasts a long time.

They seemed very good but as someone who normally wears a size between 9.5 and 10.5 I found this size 10 very comfortable and didn't want to try to break them in . The soles seemed to have a lot of grip (essential for water shoes) but also made them very squeaky on polished floors.

so far these shoes are amazing. everything i was looking for My size with a regular Loyak 10 turned out to be too big. I'm a size 10 1/2 and the Loyak AC 10 fits perfectly. Easy to turn on and off. They were too tight at first and rubbed the top of the left big toe almost to the point of wetness, loosened the laces a bit and now they fit like a glove.

I bought these to roam the flat rocky coasts and rivers while fishing. It had good support and traction but don't try to walk on rocks with algae or moss as you will still slip. Look for felt-soled shoes if that's your case. But they work great for me.

I spend a lot of time with my dog in and around rivers and lakes. They offer pretty good traction on slippery river rocks. Slight foot protection but that's an expected compromise for such a light and quick drying platform. You have great socks. The mesh rubs on the tips of my toes with prolonged use, but nothing major for my foot. They are also comfortable for me on short walks.

I spent a lot of money on other water shoes that could not protect against stones. I've used them 10 times and never had a stone in them. They fit well so most of the sand stays. I recommend buying a half size up as they run small. I wear a size 10.5 and ordered a size 11 and they fit like a glove. I am happy to announce that I have completed my search for the perfect water shoe. Now I found it with Astrals.

I have wide feet so I went back to a size 10 and took a size 11 and they are a bit long to wear. But if you have regular sized feet, as opposed to my Fred Flintstone feet, you should be fine. I really enjoyed wearing them down and back down the river during my trip and hiking in the same shoes is great and I got compliments on them literally every day from a guy saying they are great shoes and/ or they even recognize the brand. And that in the outback of Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons.

I took the advice and ordered 1/2 size smaller (I usually wear a 10.5 so I bought 10). The fit was snug but not uncomfortable, especially for a water shoe you don't want to slip off. Fast forward to their first real use last weekend when I had to walk an easy 1 mile to bring this one ashore. It was like the piranhas ate my Achila at the end of the day.
