I had cataract surgery and the shape of my glasses prevented my doctor from exposing the lens as usual. That meant I had a double correction on that eye. These shields allowed me to cover the lenses of my glasses while I had to wear them while awaiting surgery on my other eye. Very helpful !

I am legally blind in my right eye. I set 20/200. So I see light and images, but because my left eye is 20/20, it's very difficult for me to see clearly. When my vision was between 20/70 and 20/100 for my right eye, my left eye became the dominant eye and my brain was able to largely ignore images from my right eye, although it was tiring. But now that my right eye is the way it is I can't see anything, but I can't see well unless I cover my right eye and struggle with constant headaches. These
