Description of Black ASUS ROG Gladius II Core Gaming Mouse: Enhance Your Gaming Experience
ROG Gladius II Core is a lightweight and ergonomic device designed for right-handers. Equipped with a high sensitivity optical sensor (6200dpi) and separate main buttons with replaceable switches, it is ideal for all shooters where accurate shooting is required. The mouse features anti-slip side grips with a ROG gaming-inspired pattern. Aura LED backlighting with Aura Sync technology adds extra flair to this device.
Pros
- - quality of materials, - the ability to easily replace micro switches (micro switch) with any other without a soldering iron, - not easily soiled plastic, - under my arm (large palm), - fully customizable illumination of wheel and logo LEDs (together or separately) can be completely turned off or dimmed in the range from 0-100% (in 25% increments), of course, all this in all shades of the rainbow, - actions (macro, functions) of each of the 6 buttons (except the left one) are configured separately. - subjectively, in shooters it has become easier to hit the enemy (before that there was a simple Chinese mouse for 500)
Cons
- There are no particular complaints, everything below is more nitpicking: - does not save settings in the mouse memory (in case of transfer and connection to another PC), - the USB cable is not disconnected, as on the older models of ASUS ROG Gladius II Origin - probably in the future you will have to buy a holder for the cable (the braided cable is harsh, but this does not really interfere) - the click is loud at night,
Pros
- I can highlight a number of positive things after prolonged use of the mouse: 1. Comfortable use. In addition to games, I often work remotely from home, with the help of a computer and all the accessories. The shape of the mouse body allows you to use it for 12 hours, while the hand does not get tired and the mouse feels like part of the hand. 2. Specifications. The mouse can be configured in detail using Asus' "ROG Armory" software. After choosing several convenient sensitivity modes, I got the convenience of being mobile when using work programs, as well as switching between them and, for example, games. I can choose between several modes with different sensitivity values by pressing one button. 3. Multifunctionality. It has always been customary for me that a mouse is two buttons + a wheel. However, with the Gladius II Core Black, my opinion has changed dramatically. Now, having set up each mouse button for separate commands, I don’t understand how I lived without such an opportunity before. Thanks to the creation of macros, not only the efficiency in work has increased, but also the game skill :) .
Cons
- At the time of writing, no deficiencies have been identified.
Pros
- looks good, the backlight is cool, it works.
Cons
- Quality is Chinese, rattling trash
Pros
- Just a beautiful and comfortable mouse for the money. Yes, it is big, but for my hand (the palm is slightly smaller than 20 cm) it is more than suitable, especially under the palm grip. An awesome feature is that you can change the mics simply by removing the plugs and unscrewing a couple of screws. The sensor is normal, it doesn’t break, nothing like that, of course I don’t really understand, but I play on the second dpi + sensor preset in CS GO 0.65, and everything is fine.
Cons
- I expected more from software for the mouse. Either I don’t understand something, or I most likely just downloaded the program separately for setting the backlight, but there is apparently another program for setting the mouse itself, I don’t know for sure. If so, then stupidity, before that there was a Corsair mouse, and everything is convenient there in one application
Pros
- Comfortable. Beautiful. Aura sync. Flexible setting.
Cons
- Price. The wheel makes a very loud noise when scrolling up. Equipment.
Pros
- Excellent mouse (mid price range). Comfortable shape, palm and fingers do not get tired. For large hands (like mine). Nice lighting, a kind of soothing LED night light. Large, with a clear fixation of the scroll wheel. Easy sensitivity adjustment (just intuitive). The cord is braided, someone says hard, it suits me.
Cons
- No complaints.
Pros
- Microswitches can be replaced
Cons
- The hump rests, not very comfortable, I got used to it for 2 weeks. Breaks the sensor sometimes, hard braid.
Pros
- Didn't find
Cons
- -Very easily soiled -too high -Cursor moves jerkily -4 dpi modes, each of which is not suitable for me -Buttons are too easy to press -The wheel scrolls the page too slowly
Pros
- 1) This mouse immediately fell into the hand, got used to it no more than 10 minutes after the CM310 (palm grip, also suitable for the "claw"); 2) Armory Crate software - everything is as simple and convenient as possible to use (it is possible to create and edit settings profiles, synchronize the device, change the backlight, create macros, change button assignments, set settings profiles for games that are on the PC, get fresh ate the mouse firmware, set the frequency of polling and button response, adjust DPI modes, change the binding angle); 3) Finally, no rubber on the sides, only small notches - while the mouse does not fly out during sharp strafes; 4) The coating is pleasant, not easily soiled by itself, prints do not remain; 5) Backlight in the theme - minimalistic, has flexible settings, you can also set the brightness of the LEDs; 6) 4 DPI modes with customization (set 200, 400, 600, 800); 7) New drivers from May 2022, active support; 8) The sensor does not break, the separation height is optimal - suitable for playing CS: GO, PUBG; 9) Clicks of this mouse are a thrill, they are pleasant tactilely and audibly, but for some they may seem quite loud (especially at night), here it’s not for everyone - I’m personally satisfied; 10) You can always change the microswitches if they fail without replacing the mouse; disassembly of the device occurs without opening the Teflon legs, the screws are hidden behind rubber plugs; 11) Cut-offs on the wheel are clear, when scrolling clockwise it is quite quiet (towards you), counterclockwise (away from you) - noticeably louder; 12) The location of the Teflon feet, their shape, the speed of movement of the device on the carpet - no complaints, suitable for both Control and Speed coatings; 13) The cable is long (about 2 meters), in a fabric braid, there is protection against bending. 14) It is worth noting the design of the mouse - do not find fault.
Cons
- Minor but worth mentioning: 1) Bounce of the side keys when moving the mouse; 2) The cable is rigid, a holder is required; 3) There may be problems with the initial understanding of what software to install from the official site, install Armory Crate right away (do not forget to check the OS bit before installing the software).
