Inexpensive and works well

Easy to install and use. I have selected the Auto Doctor app to use with the device. I love how easy it was for my iPhone 6 to connect to an OBD-ll Wi-Fi signal. Auto Doctor is also easy to navigate. I scanned my car [2002 Accord Vtech V6] a week ago when I first received the device. My Check Engine light was off and no trouble codes were found correctly. Yesterday my Check Engine light came on and an EVAP leak was detected [P1457]. I have yet to confirm this is correct by repairing the EVAP…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Works great and is also a fun car gadget

I bought this to play with. I was thinking about buying one of the obd sensors to have another device in my truck. After considering all the options, I got the idea that I could access all of this and more with one of these wireless readers. I took an old iPhone that I wasn't using, installed it on my dashboard, downloaded a free app and now I'm constantly being shown real-time information. This is a much cheaper alternative and allows you to extract a lot more data. I can also read error codes

  • Nice to use

Good product. I've already saved hundreds of dollars.

Should have bought this sooner. Of course, it's only recently that I've seen a number of check engine lights come on on my vehicles. I first paid $89 at a local store to have the codes read. I saw this and decided to give it a try. I have used Turque (Lite) to read and erase codes. In the last few weeks I have read two codes and replaced three sensors. I saved hundreds of dollars by buying a part from Revain and replacing it myself. Great product and worth $15. UPDATE: I lost my first purchase…

Good price compared to what you can buy in the parts store

This scanner works well with my 2005 Toyota Corolla. It turns on as soon as you plug the device into the OBD port, usually under the driver's side dash. This scanner is great if you're just sitting in a parking lot, but with that length of cable it's impossible to drive and see what's going on. continues. It would be as bad as a portable cell phone. That being said, my Corolla is old so it doesn't support all the monitors this device is configured to read. I compared this to the results I got…

-Good workmanship (not cheap) -Works as described (Basic Global Automotive Diagnostic Tool ) - Tested on 2012 BMW F10 (Series 5) - Lightweight and easy to use. - Can read vehicle VIN. - Can display vital data such as temperature and RPM. - Can perform self-test. - Comes with many languages. -Can display O2 sensor status and data. -Can display misfire status and data. -Must be able to display still images on some vehicles (maybe not BMW, you should check yourself). -Can read faults and clear…

Pros

Cons
  • Unusable features

Multiple applications are possible, I only chose one.

I used this to reset a faulty thermostat code after replacing the thermostat. I was a little confused when I scanned the QR code on the packaging and instructions. I had to re-read the instructions a couple of times to judge which application should work. I had a list of apps on my Android after the phone sent me to a scanned website. It didn't quite redirect me to Google Play. I ended up reading the descriptions on the web page and then typing in the general search I've put together, hopefully

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Very Expensive
