Love, love, love is the thing!

Works great! I hooked it up to my homemade camper and I really like it. The kit has everything you need, all the wires and instructions are awesome. Very happy with this purchase and if I ever build another camper I will know exactly where to get my charger.

Great charger for jump starters, battery chargers and portable power supplies

Whether you are camping, offline or just need to charge your batteries, this will make your life easier. Instead of a car battery, our iceco cool box is powered by LiFePo batteries. We also hooked it up for solar charging when the car isn't running. Great product!

Works and is basic (Limited visibility due to an issue)

UPDATE: Charges the battery and turns off. Well! But then it won't turn back on until the battery voltage drops, which is a problem for LiFePO4. These batteries do not lose voltage until they are discharged. This means that this device does not actually use solar energy or an alternator to power it, even when they are available. On a sunny day, I noticed that my van was drawing more than 10 amps, no power was arriving and the gauge was showing "fully charged". It should draw 10 amps from the…

In contrast to other DC chargers

UPDATE: The reason this unit has issues with significantly draining the battery before charging is because it is LiIon compatible but NOT Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4). So be prepared for problems if your Li-Ion battery is LiFePO4 like Chins, Renogy or Battleborn. This unit does not work like other DC chargers I have had. In particular, when the battery is charged and this device is powered by solar or generator power, it will not provide power to maintain the battery charge level. Instead…
