Terrible Detent Cable, Avoid Buying

As an automotive enthusiast, I was disappointed with this replacement cable. As my tests showed, it lacked durability and failed after only a few months. The only positive was an easy installation process. However, I would not recommend this cable as it is unreliable and not worth the money.

MUCH longer on drive train and drive train

because it's so long you have to wriggle around to grab the extra and then it causes the cable to pull/get tangled in the case.

. about a foot longer, it doesn't retract like it should, and will probably fit in any car.

Well it's about a foot longer, it doesn't retract like it should and will probably fit every car ever made because of the little adjustable nub on the end of the cable , but I did use it because it's a two day job to get there. Do not buy this product. Amazon should stop offering it to their customers
