Atron Picture Painting Display Bulb_PCT7 Review

This flashlight exploded and caught fire. Luckily we were home and in the same room as the light. It was plugged in and turned on, we heard an explosion and saw it burn. The bulb was the one that came with the bulb and now it's blown inside the bulb. Totally scared us to death but luckily it didn't go further down the plug and into the wall.

Great value for money. I am very happy. I bought 2 of these lamps to replace the picture lamps I have had for over 30 years. However, the picture lights were supplied with bulbs in the light. 1 bulb/bulb broken. The other light was ok and in perfect condition. Certainly not the end of the world. I will and will order again.

It's no star - it didn't last long and is very weak. Don't waste your money on this expensive junk! It was a robbery. It doesn't have a 'remote control', there is a switch on the cord so you need access to turn it on and off. The photo I used was over a large piece of furniture, which wasn't practical at all as there was a cable behind it and couldn't be accessed.

Uses a small low wattage bulb, T6 I believe. In my photo it looks lighter than it really is. I just wanted it to light up the hallway bookshelf so I could see the titles of the books clearly and it works great. It has a simple mount, strong but thin enough to be bent if needed, which I did. The device is not fancy, a hood made of chrome-plated plastic, but it is quite suitable for my purposes.

SUPER happy with it! Judging by the reviews, they are way cheaper than they really are. They are NOT plastic, they are metal and the clamps bend slightly to focus down. The 11W lamp is perfect for any picture or artwork. They are the perfect complement and the highlight of my vintage velvet art. Without them, the art was so obscure that it was difficult to make out anything. I highly recommend them for the price and functionality!

Received this to hang in a small display case and was very disappointed. The shadow directs most of the light toward you and the ground instead of back onto the display. This makes it quite dark and blinds you at the same time. While I could buy a different, brighter bulb to better illuminate the display, it would also make the bulb itself more dazzling and distracting. The lamp was also shipped in an unpadded box and stood out due to what was stuffed inside. This ended up bending the shadow a…
