This detergent has retained a very long lasting softener (smell and feel of wax) from improperly washed cycling clothing. I've been using it on all my clothes ever since and it's great. It really leaves no residue or odor and all my sports gear (lycra, gore-tex, polyester, etc.) feels cleaner and more breathable.

This is the BEST! When I bring new clothes home, they smell like perfumes I bought in stores. And when I buy clothes from a thrift store or get clothes as gifts, they ALWAYS stink like chemical detergent/fabric softener, perfume/cologne, fever. I follow directions and soak with a full capful overnight, then add another in the morning and finish the wash. That's wonderful!
