M dual Magnet cartridge with 0.3 x 0.7 mil Elliptical Nude stylus. Aluminum cantilever. Durable low-resonance polymer Housing. Threaded inserts in cartridge body enable cartridge to be mounted to headshell with just two screws - no nuts required. Universal 1/2"-mount headshell for 4-pin Turntable cartridges.

Fresh and light. on Accessories

As with all quality audio equipment, each upgrade costs twice as much as the previous one. This pen will greatly improve your highs if you like that sort of thing. Great headshell if you're bringing old turntables back to life.

MAJOR REPLACEMENT AND UPDATE!

I had 2 Ortofon "Red" for 5 years, which I used alternately to prolong their life. But I read about AT premounts and how much better they sound than Ortofon Red. I tried this model as it was the most recommended upgrade over Red without being over the top in terms of rice. I'm very glad I did! I've had it for over 2 weeks now and every night I test it on my trusty old friend Yamaha YPD-6 circa 1980. I still have 3 weeks to make sure it's a 'keeper' but I see myself unable to return this…

As good as it's worth.

I bought this magnetic cassette in my never ending quest to improve the sound quality of my stereo and still be cost effective. In fact, I was quite happy with the sound of my existing pickups, both of which were previous upgrades. But you never know if your next purchase will be the musical equivalent of Nirvana.
