Doesn't work for Bluetooth model.

This cable works as advertised. I'm giving it one star because it doesn't match the Audio Technica M50x BT (Bluetooth) and it's poorly advertised. It's frustrating because there's no reason they couldn't make a 3.5mm cable. Actually. This is the same feedback as the regular m50x. Why would I pay so much for a limited set of cables just because Audio Technica ruined the plastic part of the connector so 99% of the cables wouldn't work?

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Legacy model

$30 is quite expensive for what it is but I bought this as a gift to replace a broken headset cord and my friend is thrilled to be able to reliably use his headset again, so here it is. You'd think for $30 they'd make a braided cable or something fancier. Seriously, for 1/5 the price you can buy a 1/4" to 3.5mm jack, why is it so expensive? A simple twist lock? That's stupid! It was a gift, it made someone happy made that i love so i thank him for that but if i were to buy it for myself i would

As some others have said they are not very high quality and unless you are very careful and careful the cable ends bend very easily. wiring or plugging in such a way that the sound is no longer transmitted properly and the cable becomes garbage is usually not that big of a deal, except that these cables are unnecessarily expensive. They are trying to sell you a rotary lock that is actually only made by them. After probably >$50 for cables between them and the extensions I used, which I kept…

THIS IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE M50xBT WIRELESS MODEL.

I bought this for my M50xBT wireless device because several users AND the seller told me it would fit. Well the plug was 2.5mm not 3.5mm for my jack. The real metal plug was thinner, but the plastic handle was thicker. Not thin enough to fit into a deep, shallow hole in the case. It's like trying on a 7 inch shoe on a 13 inch foot. I keep hearing "proprietary" but Jack is the same as on my Sony and Apple devices. Revain sells tons of flimsy forks that cater to "brands" needs. All you need is…

Official product - NOT exactly the same but close enough

I ordered mine when my original cable was loose in the connector. To be honest, I think $30 for a coiled cord is an outrageous price. A quality cable should cost $15-20. But of course there's a proprietary Audio Technica connector. Anyway, I ordered it and to my surprise it was the official AT cable. I mean I know the description says AT but I felt like it was a 3rd party product that just says AT describes compatibility. So it was a pleasant surprise. However, despite some other reviews, this…
