The license plate holder was very easy to use. There was a tool in the kit to put the number plates in the holders (you have 2) but I didn't really need it. Be careful as the panels have sharp edges. After the plates were in place I had some concerns about the screws being secure enough, but they worked well with no issues with a good, tight fit. I was able to place two plates in under 10 minutes. and was very pleased with the finished look after the caps were on.

Easy installation. Everything fits well. Looks good, couldn't be better for my taste. I have a large sub in the trunk and so far the cymbals have not rattled, which is a very important question for me. Guess I thought it would improve the looks, I overrated it. There are no improvements, but also no losses. When buying another car, the license plate holder and all kinds of advertising stickers immediately fall off. I bought this to drive my truck because I liked how it looked on my wife's Tahoe. I really like them more than the plastic/metal license plate covers. in my app closer. They don't work on my faceplate as there are grippers on the faceplate that won't allow the thickness to be gripped. My wife has the same problem but the back panel fits perfectly. Again, I like the way they sit and look. I've also installed bolts and updated them around my car and they seem good.

It is a soft silicone that protects the body from scratches on the license plate and prevents rattling. Of 2 sets, one only had 4 screw caps (plus 1 extra) and the other had 8 caps (plus 1 extra). Other than that, it's great value for money. Have used them on 2 sets of NYS records, the latest Excelsior version and one that is 2 generations older. I don't like the dealer's license plate frames - I don't want to advertise their business for free. And while I'm not exactly a fan of the "art" of my license plates, I do find it odd when part of it is obscured by the dealer's huge bezel.
