Large Aurifil Spools are: Cotton: 12wt 356 yards (325m); 28wt 820 Yards (750m); 40wt 1094 Yards (1000m); 50wt 1422 Yards (1300m) Wool: 12wt 383 yards (350m). Case is Stackable with Bottom of one Nesting in Top of another. Constructed of translucent white plastic; Made in Italy. Dimensions (each case): 9.5" by 6" by 1.5"

Convenient

I love these cases! My Janome machine doesn't like most other filaments so I have to use Aurifil or some other good quality filament. Aurifil is available at my local quilt store, so I buy it there. With this case I can better organize my threads.

Not as expected. Difficult to open. Doesn't go well with my other Aurifil cases

Not as expected. These suitcases have 2 rows of 6 seats and are difficult to open. My old cases have 3 columns by 4 rows and are easy to open. Also, the new 2x6 hulls don't go well with the old 3X4 hulls. I filled out a return for a return request Canadian carrier.

Danger. does not look like original packaging with good closures!

I was disappointed that they didn't look like the original Aurifil thread boxes. The left is what I received (no front latch) which is difficult to open and the right is the original box with a nice strong latch and horizontal thread retention. In general, this box will protect my expensive threads from dust, but I will not buy them again. I just liked the original save system better.
