Absolute joy! - Clay

This is my first time working with air dried clay (before working with plasticine) and it is a real pleasure. It's moist, smooth, pliable, easy to trim and just plain fun. Please watch my short video!

This is my favorite play dough

This play dough is great. It's easy to use and holds moisture well when covered. This is my new favorite shade, but harder to find in large portions at a good price. Still, it helps a lot to move my older project forward.

Like it but shrinks/tears when drying

I'm not an artist. I ordered for a school project, my daughter and I really liked it. Dries quickly overnight but unfortunately cracks so we'll try another Crayola brand that looks a little more pliable for our needs in the long run. However, I still love clay and my 4 children have plenty of clay left over to use this summer. Odorless, easy to clean, easy to use, dries quickly. It remains to find a good project!

Have a nice hobby :) for Clays & Doughs

I'm just a hobbyist, I haven't worked with that kind of clay, mostly just dabbled in polymer clay so I'm relatively new to working with clay. The tone was softer than I expected. It dries quickly if you're making small items and I love that the clay can be edited after it's dry. Sometimes it cracks or flakes off after drying, which I wasn't expecting based on the good reviews. I let it dry naturally so I don't know why it sometimes peels off.

Ideal for beginners

I originally bought this because it had good reviews and I wanted as much quality but cheap tone as I could find (student). Needless to say, it definitely delivered just that! For small pieces this is great, but for large pieces it was tedious (although this is probably due to my inexperience, so take it with a grain of salt). Tearing was a big problem for me, so keep a spray bottle handy to make sure everything dries evenly. I love this tone, in my experience it was very easy to use and I'm…

Disappointment

I am a professional sculptor and bought this to try. Worked about 4 ounces. Hands for an hour while watching a movie to feel it. After an hour it became hard, cracked and non-functional. I've read a few reviews of other polymer clays and Revain seem to have a habit of throwing out the old clay. I don't think I will buy clay through Revain again. I don't have time to fool around. If you get a good batch, it has good staying power and isn't too oily. It seems like you can use them with or without

Wonderful clay to work with - feels like I'm back in pottery class!

Working with this clay is phenomenal! It's so easy to shape, cut and shape! I once took a pottery class and it was one of the most fun activities I've ever done! One of the best parts of this course was making your own clay. I could never get the tone as good as the teacher, obviously he got a 3 on it. Its tone has always been so smooth and easy to work with that working with it will make your projects that much better in the long run. His clay, which he made from scratch, was so smooth, soft…
