Excellent aftermarket temperature sensor. Ease of installation. I had a problem with the adapter because I installed it on a 1975 car. But I found an adapter kit at Revain that worked. I doubt if your car is newer you will have problems. Works perfectly.

Very happy with this sensor. I wasn't sure if it came with a transmitter as it isn't listed but it is indeed included along with a couple of adaptors. However, I had to buy a different adapter for the Yanmar engine on my Deere tractor. Also, the small 2 inch gauge fitted snugly with the small dashboard on the tractor.

I had to use the adapter that came with it and the temperature transmitter broke in half when I tried to attach the adapter to it. I would recommend buying a different model or just going to a parts store. I know I got it from O-Rileys for 24.99 while the Revain was 34.99. So yes. Wouldn't get it again. Very bad product.

The car already has a relatively accurate engine temperature sensor. Acquired to control the temperature of the automatic transmission. Installed a 1/8" pipe thread plug in the transmission pan, screwed in the sensor and hooked it up. Works as expected. Small gauge but I didn't have much room for a gauge and this one fitted perfectly where I needed it and so on. makes by far the job I needed.

For those of you wondering, the Model 2355 Automatic Gauge comes pre-packaged with a temperature probe! I wasn't sure if that was the case and after searching Auto Meter they listed it with the sender. I took a chance and mine came complete with a console gauge (as pictured) and a transmitter with 2 adapters offering 3 size options. This happens on my 2000 Polaris Sportsman 500 with a 28mm hose adapter. Hope that helps. Nice little device that arrived in 2 days via Prime.
