The goods arrived promptly and adequately packaged. Looks like a good solid hook. I'm sure there are better ones out there, but this fits my criteria for strength and purpose.

Looks very good and feels solid. I haven't used it yet and hopefully won't need to do so any time soon. The small washers on the shackle bolt help hold it in place, but I still recommend using a wire or zip tie to keep it from twisting out.

Very happy with this set of brackets. Well made and has a certain weight. Great accessory for my Tahoe as I only have front tow hooks. Along with the great AT tires, this strut kit is extra insurance when I need to pull myself out of a traffic jam. Color coding for my truck.

Great product. The paint is beautiful and durable. Looks nice and chic. The rubber part does not last long and is easy to remove. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GMC BACKDOOR SAFE! When the step is down, the rear door hits the clutch. I wish they had moved it 1 inch closer to the receiver so I could hold it in place with the stand. I would buy a new one if they made GMC TAILGATE sure.

This is a quality product. Strong steel, strong strut and good insulators. another competitor I bought. It sags in the handset and rattles. Competitor 1 is 31/32" so only has 1/32" of play so just be shy if it's as snug as an entirely different clutch I've used. Check out some other pics, you can see what I mean: I like the colors and all, but there are too many games for my taste.

I bought this receiver as rescue gear to carry around in my off road FJ. We also have quite a lot of snow here in the Colorado mountains and you never know when you might be able to help someone who has slipped. While I hope I don't have to use this gear, I'm ready when I need it. Came quickly after I ordered it. Pretty powerful, no doubt it will do the job. The price was good too. I recommend it to everyone who lives in the countryside where the streets are not always cleaned in winter.

Looking for a 2" shackle? is what you want What I like most is the storage box that comes with it. Sure it's cardboard, but a few pieces of tape to reinforce the corners/edges and it'll take a while. The box keeps all the parts together where I need them and keeps them from hitting my other tools/accessories. The yoke and receiver are well powder coated and the yoke comes with an insulator. With two through holes, this receiver allows you to mount the bracket vertically or horizontally…

We have had this shackle receiver for over a year now. We love it! Completes the look of our 4Runner and we even used it to uproot some bushes in our garden. This afternoon we pulled up behind a car waiting to turn left. My husband, our 1.5 year old, our 2 week old and I were in the car. Unfortunately the van behind us didn't see the stopped traffic and hit us from behind.
