Works as intended. for hand tools

This Automagic center punch works as intended but does not have enough impact to make a well defined dent in carbide. I have to use 3 or more times to make a big impression or use a hand punch after using this one. Hardly worth it if you have to work with a drill press.

Pros
  • Center Punch
Cons

Very poor quality and performance!

as soon as I took it out of the box it didn't work. When disassembling, the inner piston did not move, removed it from the body of the punch and found that the piston has burrs that do not allow movement. Burrs removed, greased. The stamp works correctly about 50% of the time. Very poor quality and performance.

Pros
  • punching
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

worked fine for about 10 hits then problems started.

this punch did not withstand constant use. after about 10 strokes, the automatic punch stopped working. I had to move to continue working. I had the same problem with other auto hits, but they usually worked after a few hundred hits before the problem started. This is not very good quality. Looks good but doesn't last.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Don't go best into punches

I figured it out and finally found the time to use it. Well, this thing leaves virtually no marks on metal. Yes, the wood is soft and when it clicks it's pretty weak. I had to shake it many times to really click. Matched it to the red top and even took it apart to try and see if that would make a difference and no you might get a click. I got lucky as I got 7 clicks in a row before it wouldn't click again until I had to shake it and try again. A 2 year old can dent metal with his teeth deeper…

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
