Unreliable and poor quality brake tool

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice as a mechanic, I can confidently say that this brake tool is subpar. The tubing cutter is not sharp enough and requires excessive force, while the pliers are not durable enough to withstand frequent use. The only perk is the affordable price, but the lack of quality makes it more expensive in the long run.

Pros
  • Efficiently cuts brake tubing without damaging the surface.
Cons
  • Limited use for only cutting brake tubing, cannot be used for other types of tubing.

Fairly disappointed

The finish of the bender is mediocre and although it is described as a brake line bender the packaging says it is for brass lines. Schneider worked well

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Almost OK

Takes a little finesse, but does what it's supposed to.

I had to make a short 90 degree bend right on the fitting while it was on the car. This tool will get the job done, but you'll have to move it down in small increments. You can't do the whole bend in one motion. It also marks the line a bit, but at least there are no kinks.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • I'm worried about this one
