After spending a few hours installing it and rolling the window up and down a few times it worked great so I said it was done. door panel closed. A few hours later when I tried again the cable broke. The cable on the factory part has been broken for 13 years, this doesn't even last 13 hours!

The BMW E90 power windows are faulty and break easily. Go to any BMW forum and many 3 Series owners have this problem. I'm probably swapping the rear driver's side for the third time. Costs less than an OEM part so I'm not too upset that I have to buy this replacement. At the very least, a BMW should have a better design lest it fail!

Window runs very jerkily due to resistance in the rail. The plastic piece that attaches to the window also doesn't fit very well and requires the rubber grommets to be cut for the window to snap properly. Cheap and functional is good, but it wasn't functional. There was so much extra resistance that the window couldn't be raised from its lowest position, activating the anti-pinch feature. This installation was attempted on a 2007 BMW 335.

Bought to replace a faulty regulator on a 2006 BMW 325xi. Problem 1 - The motor bolt holes are just plastic holes. I think you can just screw in the screws, but M6 screws are used to attach the motor to the ESC. I ended up just running a tap through the plastic holes to be able to mount the motor to the ESC. Once installed, the window doesn't open automatically but gives a window error, which basically means you have to teach the car where the window is at the top and bottom.
