Left gas cap on the pump after filling up my Polaris Side-by-Side. I have ordered a replacement cover. It arrived quickly and was an exact replacement for the cap.

The cover has no seal and is not designed to hold the original seal. I transport my RZR in a toy tractor where gasoline fumes in the trailer are unacceptable. This is a low quality product.

I ordered a new cover because the old one was lost. Loved the look of the aluminum but was a little disappointed when it said a gasket was not included. When it arrived it had a pad that upgraded it to five stars. Very good gas cap with gasket for less than $13.

At first glance the cap is beautifully finished. However, I did find sharp burrs on the threads in the lid cutting into the threads on the plastic gas tank. It also sticks very tightly to the threads of the tank. I'm afraid that a cap with a sharp thread and a tight fit will easily cut the thread. I'm very busy right now, but when I have some time I'll see if I can get the lid to work.

Nice and heavy feels and looks great. Read complaint about gas fumes due to missing seal. Glued and screwed straight out of the box (Polaris Sportsman 850 XP ESP) no problem. Already ordered OEM gasket #5810513. A little less in the cap is perfect for the tank. I applied 3M spray adhesive and so far it has held up all night with no problems. Nice upgrade from a perfectly working factory cover, but vanity gets the best of us.

I bought this gas cap for my 2012 Ranger 800 Crew because the seal on the original cap has come off and I swear I could smell gas when the tank was full . This cap wasn't much larger than the OEM cap so I went with it. This is a quality product. I gave it 4 stars because it has no gasket or gasket inside. I just put it on my ranger so I don't know if it will leak when the tank is full and off road. Overall I am very happy with this cap.
