Description of 🎡 Denon AVR-X1600H 7.2 Channel AV Receiver, Black - Ultimate Sound Experience

Denon AVR-X1600H has a 7.2 configuration, which is also rare in this price category. And the device has decoders for 3D sound formats Dolby Atmos and DTS: X, and on its basis you can create systems in a 5.2.2 configuration. This will fully sound most living rooms in an ordinary city apartment. Also in this model there is a Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization processor, which will add volume to standard sound tracks. This model features Audyssey MultEQ XT auto-calibration technology for easy setup of your home theater system. The Denon AVR-X1600H is equipped with six HDMI inputs and an output supporting the latest HDCP2.3 standard. The device not only can switch video with 4K / 60 Hz, Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HGL, but also supports eARC technology, which allows you to transmit sound in 3D formats. Also, thanks to the Low Latency mode, the AV receiver can be used in conjunction with game consoles. Denon AVR-X1600H has HEOS technology that allows you to play music from network devices and on-line services, as well as include the device in a proprietary multi-room system. In it, in particular, it will be possible to play sound from a TV connected to the Denon AVR-X1600H in all zones. The device also has a USB-connector for "flash drives" with music files. The AV receiver is capable of playing songs in High-res PCM and DSD formats, and you can use a cable or Wi-Fi to connect to the network. The Denon AVR-X1600H''s list of wireless technologies also includes AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth for easy connection to mobile devices. Type of review

I had to tinker with the receiver for more than one day. But now everything plays as it should. And so, I have front speakers KEF q150, center KEF q250c, side speakers - 8 ohm microlab, subwoofer - Dali Sub C-8 D. Wires In-Akustik Exzellenz LS Cable Atmos Air What I did to set up: 1) Calibration through Audyssey (I set it up through a paid application on an iPhone) 2) Configuration via web browser. We are connected by ip to the receiver. My settings: 1) Audio/Subwoofer Volume: 0 . (The…

Pros
  • Price/Sound/Functionality. All that older models give is support for 8k / 120 Hz, more channels, power. Just compare to the office. Denon website. Possibility of setting through the browser. Before him was DENON DRA-800H - a stereo receiver. I almost regretted that I replaced it with 1600. Although they say that it is more musical at times, because in stereo power is not spent on other channels. In general, everyone has some kind of problem with the choice of power. I have a room of 20 squares. I listen at no more than 50% volume and it's loud! DRA 800 I twisted by 35 percent.
Cons
  • 1) Plastic handles. But visually it is not evident. 2) Long sound tuning to the required comfort. 3) Some difficulties with the "smart" TV. My TV is LG OLED. If you have the same TV and the magic remote through the receiver refuses to control AppleTV or PS4, see how the Denon is connected to the system. If I'm not mistaken, it must NOT be connected as a "home theater", otherwise the remote control will not control the devices. It is better to connect it as a digital set-top box. For sound output, this does not play any role, but for some reason it plays for the magic remote control! 4) Sometimes loses signal after turning on PS4 via joystick. But this does not seem to apply to the receiver model. You have to kick it through the remote control by changing the source. Not critical.

Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

My subjective opinion - there was x1300w before, and so, the sound on it was much better, it seems to me - the sound is softer on the bottoms and the sound transmission is much nicer . I think on this receiver, this can be achieved by multiple settings until I achieve the desired sound, perhaps this is a small minus in the system settings - so you need to be patient. I use it in conjunction with Eltax floor acoustics, which I previously selected for the previous avr. Thanks to integration with…

Pros
  • Everything I need is in this model.
Cons
  • Not detected. The only thing I wish it had was a timer.

The product is really good, I'm glad I bought it.

After the Denon AVR-X250BT, this receiver pleases. The settings are just as badly made, but there are many more options and functions. The sound is better and it can be adjusted more flexibly. By design: It is not clear why the volume and source switching knobs on the Denon bass amplifier are made logically, that is, you can see in what position they are and where to turn, which is useful, but on Denon receivers they are generally for furniture. Just like buttons. On the amplifier, they perform

Pros
  • Functionality! The receiver is just stuffed with all the modern options! You can create any channel configuration. There is Wi-Fi, Blutooth, USB, an additional external HDMI input, adjustment by a calibration microphone. There are not too many settings, but there are much more of them than in my first Denon AVR-X250BT receiver. I consider a radio with an antenna to be atavism, but even here it is better than in the past Denon. Tested out of curiosity. The last one caught one station on FM, this one about a dozen. But I don’t need it at all, that’s why I removed the antenna :) In the last receiver there were shameful Dishman wire clamps, screw terminals here. The sound is excellent of course. It's a Denon!
Cons
  • You can throw away the calibration microphone, do not even try the calibration function. As a result, you get darkness instead of sound. When you turn it on for the first time, after the settings, the choice of the mode of using the receiver opens in full screen. In the subsequent ones, there may be either a black screen, or a message stating that the receiver is connected, but there is no signal from it. Paradox. The settings menus and their style for such a brand are dumb. Could be confused at least a little at least with fonts. And it looks like hello from the Spectrum. The on-screen menus are very unstable. That is, it is not there and you have to look at the receiver's display. With Options and Info it's even more difficult. They appear on the screen at the moments of certain stellar activity and do not obey earthly logic. If you want to control this receiver properly, be sure to install the Denon AVR Remote app. ONLY THAT WAY you will be able to set everything up quickly without hemorrhoids. As in the previous receiver, if you connect a laptop or tablet to it, the picture on the TV will be filthy and with a terrible shim. If directly to the TV set, then everything is gorgeous. I thought that in a more expensive receiver this is better - no, exactly the same. But there are enough inputs in the TV set, so you can survive it. But given the presence of an HDMI input on the front panel, this is sad. However, the signal from the Blue Ray is going well.

Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

I am writing a review specifically in response to a passerby with the name "Name hidden". Everywhere he paints this apparatus as a "raw product" with infinitely incomprehensible tuning. I declare responsibly: the setting takes place on the TV screen in a simple dialogue mode. Everything is in 2022. No instructions are needed. Everything is intuitive and transparent. If this is difficult for someone, maybe he needs to improve his health, drink vitamins. By the way, settings and calibrations are…

Pros
  • Very cool sound, elementary connection, simple setup.
Cons
  • Suitable for relatively small rooms. In mine, about 4 by 3, the comfortable volume level for toys is 60, for films - 75. And as you know, the higher the volume, the more THD. If you have a little more money, buy the next model. She is justified. If not, keep in mind that the device is not for large halls.
