From day one a few or three months ago they noisily jumped on the windshield, adding injuries, being loud and leaving a lot of rain outside. Windshield in reverse. Strange setup compared to many options I've used in the past. You have to press on the sides (you will see lines) to make them flip up before you can put them on the hook and then slide it back until it clicks. Updated review February 21: Well these wipers were perfectly quiet when I first installed them. But after a couple of months they started to creak. They're still very good at not spraying streaks in the rain, but they're not as good at removing snow and frost from the windshield. The plastic pieces that fit over the metal J-joint are loose and fall off fairly easily. Why hasn't a company sent installation instructions for their product? Received the wiper blades on time, checked the box and box for installation instructions (even opened the box and checked) and nothing. I figured I was a mechanic so this can't be too hard. I have purchased AVA 26'+18' silicone wipers for my 2017 Civic Hatchback and so far they are fantastic! (They arrived just in time as my old wipers started to squeak and wobble a lot and the one on the driver's side actually started tearing apart a day before these new wipers arrived.)
