Works great. Plug and play on PS4, instantly recognized. The value for money was the best there was. Separate power supply, unfortunately, so it doesn't turn off with the PS4, but it's worth it.

Works well. I had to re-sync it once with my PS4 but other than that it's an amazing hard drive for what I bought it for. I would recommend. It is silent and easy to clean from hair/dust etc.

Popped up today looking for an external drive for my PS5. I wasn't sure if it would work, but I tried anyway. Syncs only through a specific rear USB (for all PS5 users). Once I found the right port, it was automatically formatted to 5.5TB. Currently in the process of moving 1TB of data, so far so good! I've had it less than a month and I've used it 5 times in total because I work a lot and today it doesn't load anything I put in it and won't let me format it new to try again so do not buy this product

After reading so many rave reviews I decided to give this brand a try. Unfortunately I didn't have the same experience as others. Item was DOA (Dead on Arrival). Was not recognized as a mass storage device by multiple PCs or PS5. Cannot be reformatted or used due to lack of recognition. Came back for a proprietary storage solution.
