Get an OEM lamp from Acer. Do not accept the universal lamp, you will regret it.

I tried fakes. I would recommend purchasing this product from Acer through Revain or direct. All other bulbs are "similar" generics. This bulb worked just as well as the original. Be sure to buy it from Acer. If it's out of stock, wait until it's back in stock. Because the added cost and ease of replacement justifies the delay and hassle. Avoid generics!

Died after a few months

The lamp is initially not compatible with the 6510bd projector - the plug does not fit the socket. I had to swap parts with the old lamp to make it work. It was great for a few months but died immediately and the projector shows a lamp error and won't turn on. The lamp that came with the projector when I got it has lasted almost four years, so it's nowhere near that.

You will spend most of the warranty period replacing this lamp.

I use my H65010BD as a TV in my living room. This lamp assembly lasted 2-3 days and did not light up again. It would be an attempt (small flash of light then goes out). I put my original lamp assembly back into the projector and it works great. I've tried to find a suitable replacement, but to no avail. This lamp was my third attempt (only the last from this seller) and none have lasted more than 60 hours. I waited until my original bulb gave me a 2500 hour warning and started looking for aโ€ฆ
