Suitable for RTX GPU, good for fans and cooling

Attach it to the back of Gigabyte RTX 3080Ti to cool video memory. Hardly fits but fits! It uses an AIO CPU cooler, so it may not fit in the first PCIe slot on an air-cooled CPU motherboard. You can clearly feel the heat transmitted through the aluminum. Uses double-sided thermal tape to attach to card.

Solid Heatsink - Computers & Accessories

This is a good, large, solid heatsink, although I wish the fins were a little further apart to improve airflow. I placed it on an 18 port POE switch running 12 POE IP cameras. to keep the box cool. The switch is a silent version with no internal fan. I've applied heatsink paste between the box and the heatsink, but it's not permanently attached. The kit did not have a heatsink, so it had to be purchased separately. I actually bought two, but one in the middle of the switch seems to suffice.

Case Heatsink for Raspberry Pi

I have purchased heatsinks that can be mounted on Raspberry Pi heatsink cases to better dissipate heat. The cases seem to retain heat and don't get much airflow over them. You can get a little more airflow with fins on the heatsink. I get about 5 degrees Fahrenheit improvement from sitting up. I bought another model from this company in black and for some reason it seems better built as the fins are a bit bigger. This gives about a 10 degree improvement. The number of fins and fin aspect ratio on this heatsink is impressive, especially for us old timers who remember the days when heatsinks with such a high surface area to volume ratio had to be made by embedding sheet metal fins in milled edges to make heatsinks more similar Size (2.581 inches wide instead of 2.71 inches, height 1.340 inches instead of 1.41 inches high) in the AAvid online catalog model #83220. not perfectly flat - internal components

The heatsink has a noticeable indentation that gives it a concave profile. Depending on what you're mounting this might be fine, but in my case I mounted an IGBT brick (100x70mm) and didn't have good contact so I had to file the edges.

Good heatsink for projects, but not perfect

The heatsink was not new, there were scratches on the bottom corners and "46" contact marks (3-chip cooler ) present the remaining lower parts. The square (end of lateral keel) fin was bent and cracked at the base. I gave 4 stars because this radiator was used. I use it on top of the cooler (in plain sight) for a two-stage Pelter "fridge/freezer" connector. Easy to machine, very efficient heatsink

Easy to machine. I used it in a resistor box I built using four 100W resistors that takes 96.25% of the load from my 50W Marshall ORI50H and converts it to heat. It's a Marshall, a resistive box, a 100WL pad pad, then a Marshall 25th Anniversary 2556AV tilted box and two Celestion Vintage 30's. Great cooler but oxidized from soaking in water

I put 2 blocks on an aluminum pan with water, 2/3 soaked with water, my MBP is on top, works fine. However, the pan and ribs are oxidized and very difficult to clean. Many accumulations of white powder can be found in the water. I hope their aluminum surface can be treated in a special way and they can be safely soaked in water.

Incredible Heat Displacement

These are amazing radiators. I have two. One is square 69x69 and the other rectangular 120x69. Square is ideal for the processor and rectangular is ideal for the graphics card. Also note that I am using them on a laptop. I know where the CPU and GPU are, so I put them on top. Luckily my laptop has an aluminum body.
