The doors of my old closet were dangling open and wouldn't close. I checked out these self-closing hinges and they turned out to be an affordable option. Could not be better. The hinges match the old ones perfectly. I just had to swap them. They are all of the same quality and most of them have an extra screw. Very important.

The description of these hinges is wrong. The description says "30 sets". These are NOT 30 sets! That's 15 sentences. The quality is good and I'm very happy with the hinges themselves, but I'm very dissatisfied. I needed 30 sets and according to the description 30 sets were expected. Unfortunately this is not what I received.

Installation Tip: Bend the hinge and place 1/16 inch of the folded strap in the hinge so the hinge is flush with the cabinet frame and restricts door movement when the hinge screws on the front of the cabinet are tightened. adhesive tape after installation

Replaced with these old brass hinges, couldn't be simpler. They fit the same holes and no door needs to be adjusted. They seem to be of very consistent quality and definitely sturdier than our old ones. It was also nice to have a "lock" feature so we could get rid of the old magnetic strips that used to keep the cabinets closed.

If I had new cabinets I would spend more and use better quality hinges. But when we bought the house, the cabinets already had these hinges. It was an exact replacement for our old hinges that were over 20 years old. 20 year lifespan is really good for the price. After 20 years 4 of 62 hinges were broken but still functional. I ordered this set and another to update our original vintage wooden cabinets and ended up keeping this set as they were a little heavier and a deep black with a low gloss had cheap art. shiny. Half of our wardrobes have been renovated in a similar style which means we have 2 different types of doors. My previous loops were pretty bad, probably due to overuse and stress. Bought it as a simple and cheap replacement. I wasn't expecting the little hinged thing to help them stay open and closed.
