This belt buckle was beautiful constructed. It looked terrific. It just didn't work. Once you closed the latch that was the locking mechanism, the belt would simply pull out at the slightest touch. Maybe a thicker belt would have been better, but I had a standard web belt that I wanted a new buckle for and this wasn't it.

I was a little wary of this buckle because of all the conflicting reviews but I am happy with the results. However, I can see that the success of this thing depends on the belt. I am using it on a Colombia but the important part is the belt is fairly thick. It measures a heavy 1/8 inch thick. This pinch mechanism is what holds it in place. All dimensions on that mechanism are fixed. So, if the belt is the right thickness it works just fine but if the belt were much thinner I can see where it…

Very well made and built in the USA! A spare alligator clasp is included. Easy to adjust and much better than D-ring type belt buckles.

If you want to buy this thing I suggest you buy it with the webbelt. Most of the complains are from people who bought only the buckle and tried to use it on a thinner belt. If you buy the complete package or if your webbelt is thick enough, you are going to love the living daylight out of this belt. I know I do and it is my daily belt for work.

This buckle looks great and is very sturdy. Unfortunately it isn't as easily operated as the video shows. I have trouble with the buckle opening when feeding the belt tail through the belt loops. After a small battle the buckle holds well and stays put as long as you don't have to adjust it. I will say that it is a good quality metal and looks really nice.

I have a couple 1.5" nylon web belts, and this buckle doesn't actually clamp down on the belts hard enough to keep the belt from loosening.

I bought this to replace a ratchet buckle that broke after only a week or two of use. It's a little wider than I needed but I love it! Would definitely buy again if needed.

The belt I'd bought for has a metal tip on the end that threaded thru the original buckle it came with. Unfortunately that buckle broke which is why I bought this one. However this one is designed in such a way that it won't thread thru.

This buckle looks nice and fit well, but it will not hold, keeps slipping thus I will return. I have one that is almost identical and it works fine, so don't know what the issue is with this one but it just won't grip.

I bought a great canvas woven belt but the buckle was butt ugly. This buckle was the perfect replacent and is very securely fastened to the belt.

They are a great looking Buckle but they don't stay locked and the belt slides though . it does not hold the belt. very disappointing. but i love the look of the buckle!

This belt buckle certainly looks awesome when compared to other web belt buckles, but the locking design simply does not grip the belt unless it is quite thick. I have web belts of varying thickness and could not get this buckle to work on any of them.

Clearly the person(s) that designed this belt buck is stupid. The only part of this belt buckel that they got correct is the small part that secures it to the end of the belt. Works perfectly. BUT! The latch for the big part is backwards in my opinion. Even the tiniest bit of presser and that latch is going to pop open and you are going to lose your pants. Other then that it appears to be a strong steady belt.

Beltbuckle won't stay closed; it just slides off all day. I would definitely not purchase this product again. That's my review.

Don't waste your money on this worthless piece of junk. Will not stay latched. The buckle keeps popping open. Poorly designed.

Its alright, but you need really thick webbing or belt to make it work, otherwise it simply doesn't hold. I had to doble layer the webbing and the webbing was heavy duty, simply for the lath to hold

Looks good, does not have positive close. Pops open without effort. Will not maintain position. Would not purchase anything else from this supplier. Should get my money back.

The people who designed this buckle got it "Half-Right" the part that secures the stationary end of the belt has the correct orientation to prevent slipping, but the part that is used to secure the end of the belt that you tighten is backwards (or upside down depending on your point of view). I bought this for a leather belt and it works great. A traditional buckle wears out a leather belt very quickly but this buckle looks very nice and will add years to the life of my leather belt. I am off to the store to buy additional leather belts with cheap buckles . I cut off the cheap buckles and use this Ayliss buckle in its place.

The buckle didn’t last me a day. It didn’t break or anything, but I ended up taking it back off of my belt after less than a day of use.The buckle was intended to replace a cheap Wish belt buckle made of flimsy plastic.
