Exterior of dress belt is 100% genuine leather with a bonded leather interior. Polished, single prong rectangle belt buckle is made of zamak and steel for strength with a classic silver finish. Belt buckle measures 2 1/4" x 1 3/4"; Width of belt measures 1 3/8" (35 mm). For best care, spot clean only. For proper sizing order one size larger than your pant size. For example, if you wear a size 36 in jeans/pants we suggest ordering a size 38 belt. It's ok but it's not leather

I ordered this belt because the product page said it was a leather belt and I thought it was very good value for money for a leather belt. I received the belt in a very nice and simple packaging. I like the color very much, it is light brown like in the picture, but unfortunately it is not leather. It fits well as I expected so I can say it is true to size and you just need to check the size chart to make sure you get the right size. Overall I think this is a good belt but if you are looking…

Alexander Zar Men's Leather Belt - note the length

This Alexander Zar men's belt is stated to measure 42 inches in length. This is the distance from the buckle to the first hole on the hook, there are six inches left. So my 42" order was six inches longer than my 34" waist. Beautiful medium sized buckle with mirror finish. The leather is of good quality and the brown pairs well with brown shoes and a similarly colored briefcase. It arrived in an orange box and looks nice as a gift.

Husband wears 36 and 38 - 38 strap barely fits

My tall, lanky husband wears 36x36 jeans in the summer and 38x36 jeans in the winter to accommodate the winter thermals - I always buy a size 38 belt anyway and they always fit great! It is currently a warm fall season so my husband is still wearing his 36 inch jeans but the 38 inch belt barely fits him. We ordered 2 belts from this company, both run a bit small. suits him at all, the 38 inches hardly suit him anymore. Obviously we should have ordered both belts as 40 inches. I recommend…
