This was my son's favorite toy until the back of the mirror came off and he choked. That was really scary! Please be careful. If your little one has teeth, I advise against giving him this toy as it breaks easily.

This is my son's favorite toy. He has been playing with him for 3 months. We're not going anywhere without Okti. He loves it so much I bought a second one to keep at daycare so I don't forget him again.

We're sorry to announce that our favorite toy, Mr. Octopus, is no longer our favorite! Today I was playing with my 6 month old son and he had a toy in his mouth. Then he started hacking and I noticed his mouth and tongue were covered in paper/stickers from a toy! Sooo creepy! He's only been with us for three months! So disappointed! So don't let your little ones!

Bought two of these for my twin grandsons to practice in the car while I drive. I really enjoy working on it, the biggest problem is that the white collar around the octopus keeps getting shredded leaving long threads, which is very dangerous for children. And getting your hands tangled or choking on the rope is a big problem. This happened to both items I purchased.

The octopus is of high quality. However, the fish sticker on the blue tentacle has already come off and the toy was received less than a month ago. In addition, children's tents can chew or bite toys. and it has no soft silicone teeth areas. just a ring with knobs and a retle. I'm colorful and holds up well in the car seat but the baby doesn't seem to like it as he's frustrated that he can't bite or chew and hurt himself. 😖

I've always been a big fan of Baby Einstein until now. This is the second try with this toy. The sticker has already peeled off the first time. Returned. That's not the toy. No hat, different mouth, different head shape. That little yellow tie already looks like a choking hazard. The stitching is not of good quality. I see other posts from Baby Einstein that have cut back on previous purchases. It's either that or the fake they sell at Revain. Will return.

Aside from the advertised product being misleading and the sticker peeling off, the overall durability of the product seems solid. If there was an accurate picture of the product I would probably rate it higher, but honestly I don't know if I would actually decide to buy it if an accurate picture was advertised.
