💇 BaBylissPRO Ceramix Xtreme Hair Straightener Review

I hesitated to buy this because of the low price and some reviews. But I'm so glad I did! My daughter has long thick coarse hair and it's warm enough to give her bouncy curls. I also have a BabylissPRO Nano Titanium straightener which I like to use to straighten my hair, but I've had trouble getting curls with it. It didn't straighten my hair at all and I've used it at the highest level. My hair isn't even that thick. Big disappointment. I went back to my old flat iron and just kept it as a backup because something is better than nothing.

This straightener is definitely not ideal for thick or curly hair. The heat wasn't enough to straighten the hair. The styling time has doubled and the hair has become frizzy. It kept my hair straight for less than 20 minutes. This might work better for fine/slightly wavy hair, but if you're considering it for thick, hard-to-straighten hair, I'd look elsewhere!

Only heats up to 250, I don't need it. I love Babyliss and can't even imagine such a temperature on an iron. I would just order Titanium for $10 more. Not a very good product description, VERY misleading! ;around(

This is by far the best iron I have ever bought. I was going to get one for $150 but settled on the cheaper one and I'm so glad I did. Makes my hair straight. It heats up quickly. I love it

Terrible product. I bought this straightener to replace a cheaper brand and it was terrible. My hand spasmed before I could do half of the hairstyle (medium length, medium density). It took me twice as long as usual because I could only do a small amount of hair at a time. And when I was done, I had to get out my "cheap" and do my hair. Don't waste money

I used to only buy CHI thermal devices, but this is pretty good. I like how there is more heat control. I have very long hair, so it runs a bit small. But I like the size because it's great for travel.

I have Babyliss Titanium plates and they work very well but I wanted to try this ceramic and what a POS! I am soooo upset that they seriously FAILED. It says it heats up to 230C (about 430 Fahrenheit) and barely heats up and in fact my hair is frizzy, how is that even possible if it wasn't frizzy to begin with? I even left it there for a while to watch, maybe it just took longer to warm up and it did absolutely nothing.

I have fine fine hair and this flat iron made it frizzy. I thought I would save money with this straightener, but the Titan Babyliss works much better and is worth the price.
