Excellent oil for lubricating Lionel trains and other models.

This oil is excellent for Lionel trains. It's as good as any oil I've smeared them with. The long, thin applicator makes it very easy to apply a small amount of product to hard-to-reach areas. Good for lubricating axles etc.

Cons
  • Minor Trouble

The cap of the bottle broke during storage.

later When I opened the container that I kept heavy gear oil in, during storage the lid broke and leaked completely. I haven't had a chance to use any of this to give a review. I also had a bottle of Light Gear Oil and the lid cracked but little came out.

Great oil, bad applicator.

Great gear oil, terrible bottle. Somehow the applicator needle broke. not the needle but the whole screw cap. Never dropped or even opened/closed. Anyway, I was a bit surprised when I turned it upside down and found half a bottle in one of my model's motors. But it's a great oil.
