reassuring! Body Care

I love this tattoo balm! I don't use it right away, maybe on the third day or so. I noticed that part of my tattoo was very red on the outside from the ink (not infected, just irritated) and this has cleared up. I will continue to use it on all my new and healed tattoos. It also works for mild skin irritations due to natural ingredients.

Like this product on Piercing & Tattoo Supplies

Tried this on a new tattoo and the results are great! I will repurchase it after it's empty (FYI it's a long way) because I've now made it a habit to put it on after I get out of the shower. I realized I've spent hundreds of dollars on art, why not protect it further! Highly recommended. There are many, but this one is top notch.

Lightweight, durable, packed with EVERYTHING!

I've been looking at Revain for tattoo balms like these because they're cheaper and lighten the tattoo well, if you have a certain craving for scent and don't give you a headache, that's one! It's also great for your hands when they're dry. I also ordered this because I had a large animal with a dream catcher and thought it was the perfect timing! The best product I've ever used! Not such a strong smell, it smells like coconut but very mild, hardly smells until you rub it in. A fresh tattoo…

An essential product for tattoos

I use it on the third day after buying new ink. I've used it on every tattoo. Smells like honey. I love stuff and you get a good amount for the price. Retains moisture for a long time and does not dry out. On the first and second day I use the tattoo compound as I feel it has more healing properties. After this initial healing, all you have to do is moisturize your skin. That's great.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember

Great hand cream!

Despite the Tattoo Balm name, I bought this to try as a hand cream because the ingredients look good and I love Badger products. The balm takes some time to absorb, but it's worth it because it perfectly hydrates hands and cuticles. The scent is herbal and light and doesn't linger like artificially scented lotions. Makes your hands very soft! I love it!

Pros
  • Brilliantly Made
Cons
  • Work Speed

Color pop and other healing!

I got my last tattoo in the middle of February. I overdid it a bit on Aquaphor in the middle of the night while half asleep and the next morning it was low and my pores were clogged. Over the next 24 hours I developed a rash around the lump. Through trial and error it turned out that clogged pores made my skin overly sensitive and I couldn't put Aquaphor on it anymore as the rash got worse. The only thing that seemed ok was the coconut oil, but it didn't keep the tattoo wet, it dried up after…

Great organic/natural tattoo balm.

The last few tattoos I've had have dried up very quickly. I wanted something more natural and moisturizing. I still used Aquaphor for the first three days of healing. Then I switched to a badger tattoo balm. I work 12 hour days and don't always have time to apply moisturizer to my tattoos. But the presence of oils that are so good for the skin stays on my skin really long and keeps it perfectly hydrated. I highly recommend this product.
