Unfortunately, when I opened it up and put things inside, the bottom of the stiffener remained twisted, folded almost in half, rather than being flat and forming a bottom as shown in the product photos. This bag fits a lot of things without feeling too big to carry. It's made of nice waterproof material with lots of pockets. My favorite are the two medium sized zippered side pockets.
