great.but. in kitchen and dining room

Great product, only one mistake, not a single word of English, nowhere. Instructions and packaging are all in Japanese. Good that the product speaks for itself.

Nice little bread slicer.

This item requires technique but works very well. Using gravity to keep the bread on the stop results in a very even slice. Storage is easy and fits in a drawer.

Finally there is a bread slicer for everyone who wants to slice!

It took me a while to arrive (from Japan) but today I tried the slicer and it works really really well. I'm one of those people who can't cut bread or anything else straight. All other slicers have let me down, but Wahei is one of a kind. It guides your blade precisely and because the weight of the bread is pointing down, the slices come out evenly. All instructions are in Japanese, but a few minutes with the slicer will give you an idea. You have to be careful not to cut some of the plastic…

Works well slice after slice

We have just purchased a bread maker and this highly regarded bread slicer. It's easy to use. Simply insert the bottom tray into the slot according to your desired thickness, place the bread on the left side of the machine, insert a bread knife (not included) into the top slot and slice back and forth. After slicing a few loaves of bread, the plastic still doesn't look cut. There is a buffer zone on the left side so you don't cut through the plastic with every cut. My main criticism is that the

This is a quality bread slicer that is very easy to use. There are many details and putting them back together is a mystery. Don't throw away the box and instructions just yet. The bread comes out thick. The thinnest setting is 10mm (1cm), which is slightly thinner than Texas toast or about as thick as restaurant sandwiches. If you want a thin pullman type shim you either need to cut 15mm (nearest setting) or use it as a spacer at the 20mm setting (the result of the pullman thickness is 5mm) or
