Much stronger than traditional scissor jacks.

These jacks are significantly stronger and offer a much better grip than traditional scissor jacks. I wish I had changed them a long time ago.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Replaced smaller block for extra lift

My original standard BAL leveling jacks were bent so I replaced them with these deluxe blocks. Fits perfectly in the same mounting position but offers about 4 inches more reach. Works great on my trailer

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Quality

It's a good swivel so it's really easy to use.

has power stabilizers (not scissors) that come with our camper, 3 retractable sockets and lots of movement, has a pair behind and in front of the wheels and is rock solid. No issues with the included handle, it has a nice rotating mechanism so it's really easy to use in any position.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Bought to help eliminate or at least minimize.

Purchased to eliminate or at least minimize typical camper trailer "bounce". Placed one in front of the driver and passenger side axles and the other behind the axles and used the factory stabilizer jacks on the corners and what a difference. Now the TT "jumps" very little when we walk on it.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Small repairability

Exactly as described!: Alignment and stabilization

They're pretty easy to install if you have your hands and basic power tools. At least a good drill bit for the pilot holes - and I used a cordless impact wrench to screw them to the frame. The jacks themselves are sturdy and come with mounting hardware. I bought two sets. A handle broke in the first season of use. I used a 16d nail to temporarily replace the pin but it was too soft. Look for something more durable for the pen. When using the spare handle.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Very expensive

Made in the USA, Heavy Duty

These are for sale. If you have a fifth wheel (like me) this is the first step in stabilizing your trailer. They actually have 5,000 pounds of real "buoyancy" when needed. Unlike electric "stabilizers" like the Lippert brand, which have no buoyancy. As soon as the legs of the electric Lippert stabilizer touch the ground, you must switch off the engine. I use these BAL scissor jacks along with two Wayne stabilizers. If you've never heard of this element, look it up. It's a simple aluminum device

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Some Difficulty

American steel, American made!

I recently flipped the axle on my 5th wheel by raising it about 6 inches and although the original stabilizers and jacks are still big enough to handle the climb, I wanted even more stability and decided to add a scissor jack to the center of the frame just in front of the front axle. I set them at 45 degrees for two reasons: 1. When set at 90 degrees from the frame they stick out about 4-6 out 2. All the jacks and stabilizers are set at 90 degrees from the factory, so they only provide…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled
