He's 6'5 " and about 375 pounds with a very large head and this hood fits great. Highly recommend and will definitely buy again

My husband is a foreman and it must be warm outside. He loves to. Fleece is very light and fully insulates against the cold. He's 6'5" and about 375 pounds with a very large head and this hood fits great. Highly recommended and will definitely buy again.

Just what I needed for my balaclavas

I work as a home delivery service in Minnesota. So I'm out all day or in a work truck. It's very cold in Minnesota. I wanted another layer to keep me warm and this is perfect. The part that covers the face can be removed so I can talk to clients. And when I need it, I can cover my face comfortably. Stores heat very effectively. It's subtle but effective. The bottom part goes low enough not to expose my neck.

NOT windproof NOT heavy

Edit - It was nice that they refunded the money but the product description needs editing. Fairly light material, totally breathable. The small inner part above the chin/mouth offers little resistance and the rest has none at all. Suitable for helmets, otherwise only for calm weather, because every breeze carries your heat away unhindered. Small snaps only fit snugly on the chin, do not affect the face hole.

Fits Wisconsin Winters

No, this balaclava won't protect you from arctic temperatures, but it does keep my face and ears warm in the Wisconsin winter. I like the ability to tighten or loosen the front part, but note that there are small gaps between the cheeks and the eyes for air to get in. I wear them with Oakley ballistic goggles to protect my eyes from the cold and they go well with a balaclava.
