Baldwin B2 Lube Spin-On Filter (Pack of 2) – Enhance Engine Performance with Ease Review

I use these for my Derale long distance transmission filter. Shifting is smooth within 1000 miles on both vehicles, adding about 1.5 liters to the system.

Very high filtration efficiency compared to all competitors except AMSoil. Can be fitted to many Ford, Mopar and Toyota vehicles as an oil and dirt booster if you have room for this huge thing. Increased oil volume by 0.7 liters over the already large Mopar "090" filter.

Seems to work well for its intended purpose. I usually use Amsoil filters and oils in my vehicles. However, this filter (B2) was for the engine oil on my 1973 Ford 5000 tractor. Baldwin has a good reputation among oil filters. I also like Wix/Napa. This was inexpensive and matched the tractor. Sent quickly. No complaints.

I don't know how anyone can confirm or deny the effectiveness of an oil filter without checking an oil sample. What I do know is that Baldwin filters are the most commonly used oil and fuel filters in the trucking industry. Many trucking companies use oil samples to check the condition of their engines, assuming Baldwin filters are good enough to use in a $100,000 truck.
